Your safari adventure is almost here! The new course is currently undergoing internal testing at gamigo, but it won't be long before you'll be able to trek across it on your own hunt for eagles and albatrosses! The new course is proving to be quite the challenge, and all of your golfing skills will be required to come out with a good score.
Before the weekend, we wanted to share with you some fun pics we took during testing!
Unfortunately, due to the nature of testing, we can not say the exact date of when the internal tests will be complete, but it won't be long now! We wish you a nice and successful weekend!

14.11.2012 Server Maintenance on Thursday 15th of November 2012
Dear Golfstars,
On Thrusday the 15th of November during 8:00 am till 2 pm CEST the Golfstar server will be unavailable.
With this maintenance we will remove all Halloween Features.
This means that the lobby design, the quests and the special Halloween items in the Shop will be removed. Exceptions will be all Halloween related items in your Inventory/mailbox/locker which you will ofcourse keep till you used them up. Notice that this is the last chance to acquire some of the scary-special stuff in the Shop.
In addition this maintenance is also the closing date for the “show us your pumpkin event”, the winner will be announce during this week.

Hello Golfstars!
In a few days the time has come. The day of ghosts and witches has come, leaving a ghoulish, creepy atmosphere on the streets of cities. Halloween isn't just about dressing up and candy, but also about the symbol - the pumpkin!
We want to give you some bit and bobs, too. However, that requires more than just putting on a costume and scaring us! We are looking for the most talented pumpkin carvers.
All you have to do is work on a pumpkin and then photograph it. On the photo there should be a piece of paper with your in-game character name on it next to the pumpkin. Then you have till 8th November, 2012 to upload this photo into this forum thread: http://golfstar.gamigo.com/forum/board8-english-forum/board11-community-board/board12-community/566-halloween-show-us-your-pumpkins/.
The five most creative pumpkin carvers will receive an awesome reward, which we don't want to announce yet. But: Participating will definitely pays!

The 10th official Golfstar tournament has now started. The mode will be the same as you already know, but this time we decided to change some details.
This time you can win stuff from the top shelves. For example a complete Majesty Jade Set, a perfectly mastered Nanuk driver or the new character David (A complete list of the prizes can be found in the rules thread). Additionally you will get the chance to win some of those prizes by just reaching the semi-finals.
There will also be a lottery in which every player can participate by reaching the semi finals.

• 1x Nanuk B7 Driver perfectly crafted to the maximum (Level 40)

Event time frame: 12 noon on June 27, 2012 until 8:45 PM (CEST) on July 1, 2012.
The final of the European Football Championship is just around the corner. A number of really good teams have already been knocked out, sadly. We're keeping our fingers crossed for the finalists - may the best team win!

Christmas has come early to Golfstar. Our latest update adds a wealth of new content and improvements to the game. Redwood one of the two new courses is ideal for experienced golfers with its narrow fairways and high trees. Pro golfers will need to take care not to get distracted by the impressive ancient architecture if they want to succeed on our second new course Aztec!
There are plenty of new quests to complete on the new courses. Other new additions include an improved ranking system that allows you to keep track of your progress and success. Countless changes to the user interface will make playing even more enjoyable.
The Christmas event provides special Christmas quests and you are able to win holiday costumes and special items.
To make the Christmas update even more enjoyable we will add 50% EXP and GP bonus from 22nd December to 5th January. The EXP bonus is stackable with all other EXP items in game. All users that were good in December might find small presents in their mailboxes.
